I'm Becky and I live in Golden, Colorado with my husband, two golden retrievers, and two cats (so, basically a zoo). You'll be seeing a lot of my fur babies on my Instagram because what's better than vintage rugs + cute pets?! I'll wait...

I started Golden Gal Rugs to share the awesomeness of one-of-a-kind, handwoven, vintage wool rugs with you at accessible prices. Truly, once you have one and see how incredible + durable they are, you will become obsessed (don't say I didn't warn ya).

What's the Backstory?

When we bought our first home, I wanted it to have a unique feel and found that vintage, handwoven, wool rugs were the best way to do just that. Box stores are great for some things, but the quality and uniqueness just isn't there for rugs. Once I invested in my first vintage wool rug, I was hooked.

The quality and one-of-a-kind nature was enough for me to swear off buying any other type of rug. These vintage babies can handle anything - kiddo messes, muddy dog paws, cat scratches, you name it. There's truly nothing better if you want something that will last for generations.

After 10+ years of working in corporate America and going through layoffs, I decided to take a step back and do something for myself. I followed a passion and made the leap to start Golden Gal Rugs - turns out, it feels incredible to do something you love and share it with others!
